The Book Thief by Markus Suzak (may contain spoilers) Summary:  The Book Thief is about Liesel, the 9 years old girl who moves to Nazi Germany in 1939 to live with a foster family. During the trip to Germany, her little brother dies and that when Death (The Narrator) sees her for the first time. When they were burying Liesel's brother, she managed to steal a book from the gravedigger. Liesel couldn't read or write, she stole it out of curiosity. When she settled down, with the help of her new father (Hans) she learned how to read and write and managed to make friends with the boy next door named Rudy, they both went to school together and went on different adventures many include food theft with Rudy and book theft by herself from the Mayor’s house. Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell (May Contain Spoilers) Summary:  Eleanor was the new student in the school. Usually, no one would care about the new kids or try to talk to them but Eleanor was different, all the eyes were on her once she walked into the school bus.
