The Book Thief (Book Review)

The Book Thief by Markus Suzak (may contain spoilers) Summary:  The Book Thief is about Liesel, the 9 years old girl who moves to Nazi Germany in 1939 to live with a foster family. During the trip to Germany, her little brother dies and that when Death (The Narrator) sees her for the first time. When they were burying Liesel's brother, she managed to steal a book from the gravedigger. Liesel couldn't read or write, she stole it out of curiosity. When she settled down, with the help of her new father (Hans) she learned how to read and write and managed to make friends with the boy next door named Rudy, they both went to school together and went on different adventures many include food theft with Rudy and book theft by herself from the Mayor’s house. Eleanor and Park by Rainbow Rowell (May Contain Spoilers) Summary:  Eleanor was the new student in the school. Usually, no one would care about the new kids or try to talk to them but Eleanor was different, all the eyes were on her once she walked into the school bus. She was different, she had a big fuzzy red hair, weird baggy clothes with different colors and types of fake jewelry covering her neck and wrists. No one dared offering her a seat in the bus and they all kept staring at her. My english project for this semester is to review 3 different books each months, so here's the first one: Divergent by Veronica Roth (may contain spoilers)   Summary: Divergent takes place in Chicago in the future, the days after the war that made the whole population divide into five different factions: Erudite; where people are smart, book lovers and scientists, they simply salute knowledge. Dauntless; where people are fearless, brave and extreme all the time, they are the army of the nation and the source of all weapons. Amity; where people are peaceful and happy all the time, they work in farms and they are the source of all the neutrinos. Candor; where people are completely honest, they never lie.
