I LOVE HARRY POTTER, OKAY?

I'm sorry I haven't blogged in a long time because of school and finals and other boring things.

Two weeks ago, I told my mom that I wanted to print the Deathly Hallows sign on a plain hoodie and my sister jumped and said: "Stop being immature, Harry Potter is for kids and you are 17 years old now, you should be ashamed of yourself."
And not her only, I have been listening to the same thing from a lot of people lately.
Seriously?

I don't know about you guys, but I never heard of a book defining the person or how old is he/she. Like seriously, books are for everyone to read. I don't have to be 8 years old to read a children book and I don't have to be 18 to read an adult book. You know why? Because I can read whatever I want and I can obsess over anything I want. Especially Harry Potter, Okay.

I grew up watching Harry Potter and I even learned english from the movies, and about Three years ago, I started reading the books. Harry potter was the main reason why love reading books. Harry Potter isn't only about a little boy who goes to a witchcraft school to learn some spells to defeat the wizard who killed his parents. NO, its a about how to be brave enough to stand up for you enemies, it teaches you the importance of friendship and among all, it teaches you the how can the power of love of your family and friends and those who left us in this life can beat anything in this world.

Harry Potter teaches you that pain makes you stronger, that fear makes you braver and heart break makes you wiser. It teaches you that even if you lost all your loved ones there are others who will be by your side to help you and protect you from all the harms you may get.

As an isolated and antisocial person, the books and the movies were my only escape to a better place, to a place that I love and I'd give anything to be with all those who share the same obsession for Harry potter as I do. Because to read is like to know that you are not alone, to know that there is a lot who 's just like you, wants to be in Harry Potter world forever. So, to all my fellow potterheads out there: Don't you ever let the muggles get you down. You're awesome.

The Queen J.k. Rowling once said : "The best stories we love best, do live in us forever." and I believe that I'll be obsessing over Harry Potter till the very end. When I'm like 80 years old or something I'll be still reading Harry Potter, and the people around me would say: "After all this time?" and I'd say: "Always."

I'll always love Harry Potter even if people kept judging me or if i get hated on. i don't understand why if you do something that you're passionate about people would judge you or hate on you for it. it's just sad, you know.

Overall, what i really wanted to say that reading is for everybody, you can love or hate whatever you want because its your life, don't let others tell you what to do or not what to do, just do whatever makes you happy.

Why is The Catcher In The Rye is my favourite book.

If you haven't read it yet, this book is about - don't worry I will try not include spoilers- a kid who gets expelled from his boarding school and tries to make his way back home. No, literally this is the whole story. But it is more than a brat walking around and nagging about absolutely everything, it carries a deep meaning that you won't get until you finish the book. Holden Caulfield's (the main character) attitude tells a lot of his state of mind. He has a continuous careless views throughout the book, he's not in a good mood, he's not in a bad mood, he's neutral! When you tell a tale this long with little to no sign of emotion, it indicates depression. And trust me, I not only have read several books with mental illness background, but I also suffered from depression at a time in the past, I know how character is feeling!  Holden doesn't get along with the kids at school, he has bad habits like smoking, drinking, chasing women etc and ...

I am back?

Wow,  It has been a hot minute since I updated this blog, I was not sure if I should reblog again or If I should just journal in a word document and save it somewhere on my computer where no one would read it. But. I do not care if anyone came upon it, it's not like I am incriminating myself for a crime that I did or did not do. It is just a bunch of nonsense, To you. But, to me, It is how I survive.  A lot have happened since I last blogged. I got my Bachelor's degree in basic science, I traveled the world, I worked in a hospital in London, I graduated med school and I became a doctor, I have been to Coldplay, Blue and Florence and The Machine concerts. I have met wonderful people that I now call friends. I laughed, I cried, I enjoyed my time, I was depressed, I was anxious, I was loved, I was alone. I have lost friends and family, I read new books and watched old movies. Many things have happened since 2016, and things are still keeping on happening. For instance, I am...
